Tim Maurice-Jones

Tim Maurice-Jones is a British cameraman .

Career

Maurice-Jones was first known for his work on commercials and music videos .

Repeatedly worked with the director Michel Gondry , among others on music videos for Björk ( Human Behavior , 1993), Sinéad O'Connor ( Fire on Babylon , 1994), Massive Attack ( Protection , 1995) or Cibo Matto ( Sugar Water , 1996) . His work for the commercials Resignation ( Polaroid , 1995) and Drugstore ( Levi Strauss & Co. , 1996), both of which were created together with Gondry, won several creative awards for his camera work. Drugstore holds the 2004 Guinness Book of Records award for the most recognized commercial. He was also responsible for camera work for Gondry's debut feature film Human Nature (2001).

From the late 1990s he worked on the first feature film productions. He worked with Guy Ritchie on Jack, Queen, King, grass (1998), Snatch - Pigs and Diamonds (2000) and Revolver (2005).

Maurice-Jones is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC).
