Tim May (born February 7, 1991 in Lich ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for the Saale Bulls Halle in the major league since 2020 .
Career
Born in Assenheim, he began playing ice hockey in Bad Nauheim at the age of four. He went through all junior teams from youngsters to juniors. Only in the years 2007–2009 did he go hunting for goals for the juniors of the MERC-Jungadler Mannheim e. V., his only station so far outside of Bad Nauheim. In 2009 the striker returned to the spa town and ran for the next three years for the Juniors of the Red Devils Bad Nauheim .
In the 2011/2012 season May made the leap into the professional squad under coach Fred Carroll and completed 30 games for the Oberliga team, as well as three cup games. Furthermore, May was on the ice 22 times for the juniors this season and was an essential performer and top scorer with 46 points.
In the 2012/2013 season, the 22-year-old striker made it into the professional squad of EC Bad Nauheim. Under coach Frank Carnevale, he became one of the top performers of the championship season in the major league.
