Tim Stoberock (born December 1, 1977 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and lawyer. He has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since 2015 .

Live and act

Stoberock grew up in Hummelsbüttel , where he attended elementary school and high school. After graduating from high school in 1998 and doing community service, he studied law at the University of Hamburg . In 2004 he passed the first state examination. With the help of a DAAD scholarship, he completed an LL.M. Degree in Durham . He received his doctorate in Hamburg with a thesis on “Exceptions in the trade in goods under WTO and EU law”. He has been a public prosecutor since 2009 . In 2011 and 2012 he worked as a criminal judge at the Hamburg-Altona District Court . Stoberock is married and has three children.

In 1994 Stoberock became a member of the SPD. From 1997 to 2000 he was a member of the Alstertal local committee . He was chairman of Jusos Wandsbek and deputy state chairman of Jusos Hamburg. Since 2004 he has been chairman of the SPD district of Hummelsbüttel. He ran in the 2011 mayoral election on the SPD state list and in the Alstertal-Walddörfer constituency, each in a lower position, but did not obtain a mandate. In the 2015 mayor election , he won a direct mandate in the Alstertal-Walddörfer constituency with 11,091 votes (3.4 percent) and entered the 21st parliament . There he is a member of the European Committee, the Budget Committee and the Family, Children and Youth Committee.

On February 23, 2020, Stoberock moved into the Hamburg citizenship again .
