Timo Mildau (born March 4, 1992 in Neunkirchen / Saar ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and has been a member of the Saarland Parliament since March 2018 .

education and profession

After graduation in 2011 at the Marie School Saarbrücken studied Mildau six years Economics computer science and law at the University of Saarland , closed both programs but not from. In addition to his studies, he worked from 2011 to 2015 as a freelance lecturer as a course assistant for the Onlinerland Saar project . Political career

Timo Mildau joined the Junge Union at the age of 16 and the CDU three years later. At the beginning of his studies at Saarland University, Mildau became a member of the RCDS, of which he was Saarland regional chairman from 2013 to 2017. In this function, he was co-opted as a member of the CDU regional executive committee of Saarland in 2015 . From 2013 until the end of his studies in 2017, Mildau was a member of the student parliament of Saarland University . In addition, from 2014 to 2016 he was a directly elected student representative in the university's Senate. In addition to the RCDS Saar, of which he was appointed honorary chairman in 2017, he is active in various functions on various boards of the CDU, the Christian Democratic Workforce and the Junge Union .

Landtag mandate

In the state election in 2017, Mildau ran for 9th place on the CDU Saar's state list. After Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer resigned her mandate in March 2018 and moved to Berlin as Secretary General of the CDU in Germany, Mildau moved into the Saarland state parliament as a successor within the CDU state parliamentary group. In the state parliament, Mildau is the chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the Enquêtekommission Digitization in Saarland and acts as spokesman for digitization policy. He is also a member of the State Parliament's Committee on Science, Research and Technology, the Committee on Environment and Consumer Protection, the Committee on Submissions and Petitions and the Subcommittee on Data Protection and Freedom of Information. He has also joined the working group for employee issues.

Private

Timo Mildau is a Roman Catholic denomination, single and has no children. He comes from the Herrensohr district of Saarbrücken . In his spare time he plays in the university soccer club UFC Wacker-Saarbrücken .
