Tina Kraus

Tina Kraus , née Christina Schröder , (born August 22, 1979 in Thuine ) is a German television presenter , journalist and reporter .

Life

After graduating from high school, Tina Kraus studied German, Spanish and Italian at the University of Cologne . Accompanied by stays abroad in Spain, a semester abroad in Italy and a scholarship from the Italian Cultural Institute for Perigia, she completed her studies in 2008 as a philologist (MA) in Romance and German.

In 2009/2010 Tina Kraus graduated from the RTL journalism school in Cologne. The training included a station abroad at SBS Radio in Melbourne (Australia) as well as educational trips to Washington, New York, Brussels and Berlin. In 2014/15, the journalist conducted a part-time training course at the Institute for Moderation of the Media University (HdM) in Stuttgart via SWR .

Tina Kraus began her television journalistic career in 2010 at WDR and initially worked as an editor for the local time in Cologne and as an author for the current hour (WDR Düsseldorf). From 2011 to 2013 she presented the weather on n-tv in n-tv News and on RTL Television in the programs Punkt 6 and Punkt 9 (today: Guten Morgen Deutschland ). In 2012 she also presented the weekly series Traumhaus for point 12 .

From 2013 to 2018 Tina Kraus worked for the SWR sports editorial team and presented sports on Saturdays and SWR Sport Extra programs. She also works as a reporter, reported for the first time in 2015 for ARD in the Sportschau Live program from the DTM . Since June 2017, the TV journalist has been a regular reporter for the local time of the WDR in Düsseldorf. Since March 2019, Tina Kraus has also been adding to the WDR reporter team for the program "hier & heute" and the "My favorite place" section.

Private

Tina Kraus has been married to the former saber fencer Christian Kraus since 2010 . The couple has two children and lives in Düsseldorf and Stuttgart. Her brother-in-law is the professional handball player Michael Kraus .
