Tine Schneider
Tine Schneider (* 1956 in Wolfenbüttel as Christine Schneider ) is a German jazz pianist .
After completing his teaching degree, Schneider studied at the Hilversums Conservatory . She then lived in Amsterdam and directed her own trio; she also played with u. a. Ferdinand Povel , Ack van Rooyen , Luluk Purwanto , Denise Jannah, Clarence Becton , Ellen Helmus , Ray Appelton, Martin Classen and Benny Bailey . She tours to Spain, Russia, France, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Between 1986 and 2002 Schneider also taught jazz piano and ensemble at the “ Conservatorium van Amsterdam ”. Since 2002 she has lived in Germany again and is a lecturer at the University of Music in Würzburg . She also works as a freelance musician with her trio ( Sebastian Nay and Rudi Engel ) as well as with Carolyn Breuer and singers such as Özay Fecht , Sheila Jordan and Sabine Kühlich .
