The Tinière is a 6 km long wild stream in the canton of Vaud .
The torrent rises a little below the district of Chaude , Villeneuve VD . Then it flows towards the southwest. A little below the 1.5 km long Le Chapuiso stream flows from the right . The Tinière then continues to flow until it flows into Lake Geneva with a cone of debris in Villeneuve . The torrent is crossed in the south by the Malatraix and Pointe d'Aveneyre mountain range (2026 m above sea level), in the east by the Col de Chaude pass (1621 m above sea level) and in the north by the Dentaux (1714 m above sea level). M.) and the Rochers de Naye (2042 m above sea level, the highest point in the municipality of Villeneuve).
