tipp3 is an Austrian provider of sports betting and a product of Österreichische Sportwetten Ges.mbH From 2008 to 2014, tipp3 was the main sponsor of the Austrian Bundesliga ( tipp3-Bundesliga powered by T-Mobile ). Today tipp3 is one of the main sponsors of the Austrian national soccer team . The brand ambassador is the Swiss star coach Marcel Koller , who in various roles supports the campaign motto "Make your team boss!" embodied.

structure

tipp3 is headquartered in Vienna and offers its products exclusively in Austria, where they are only advertised. The company has the license to conduct sports betting for all nine Austrian federal states. According to its own information, the betting provider pays around five million euros in taxes and fees every year.

The company is held by three shareholders. 56% is held by Entertainment, Glücks- und Unterhaltungsspiel Ges.mbH ( Casinos Austria and Österreichische Lotterien ), 26% are held by Mediaprint Zeitungs- und Zeitschriftenverlag Ges.mbH & CoKG ( Kronen Zeitung and Kurier ) and 18% are held by Bundesländerverlage Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH ( Kleine Zeitung , Oberösterreichische Nachrichten , Salzburger Nachrichten , Tiroler Tageszeitung and Vorarlberger Nachrichten ).

From April 22, 2015, sports betting was also offered in Germany under the tipp3 brand . The Austrian betting provider looked for Telekom as a partner to enter the German market . In June 2016, tipp3 ceased betting in Germany with immediate effect.
