Titular diocese of Macriana in Mauretania
The diocese Macriana in Mauretania ( Italian diocesi di Macriana di Mauritania , Latin Dioecesis Macrianensis in Mauretania ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an earlier bishopric in the ancient city of the same name, which was in the Roman province of Mauretania Caesariensis in the north of Algeria .
