Tobias H. Strömer

Tobias H. Strömer (born May 1, 1960 in Rheydt ) is a German lawyer , author and owner of the law firm Strömer Rechtsanwälte in Düsseldorf .

Life

Tobias Strömer was one of the first German lawyers to deal with Internet law. Since 1995 he has been the constant contact in television, radio and the press for questions about internet law and has appeared in well over a hundred programs, including on stern TV . Tobias H. Strömer is also a regular guest on the program Current Hour of West German Broadcasting. In 1997 the first edition of his standard work Online-Recht appeared .

After studying law in Passau , Bonn and Lille (France), Tobias H. Strömer passed his first state examination in 1987 in Düsseldorf. During his studies he already spent a year as a foreign language assistant in France . As part of the subsequent legal preparatory service, he worked, among other things, in the Paris office of the law firm Heuking Kühn. Tobias H. Strömer has been admitted to the bar in Frankfurt since 1990 , in Krefeld since 1994 and in Düsseldorf since 1997. Since 2008 he has also been a specialist lawyer for intellectual property law .

Strömer Rechtsanwälte primarily advises small and medium-sized companies on questions of internet and media law, especially trademark law , competition law , copyright law and personal rights . The law firm had the Federal Court of Justice answer the long controversial question of the admissibility of using third-party brands and company names as AdWord in the Beta Layout and PCB Pool decisions .
