Tobias Neumann (born September 7, 1988 in Düren ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Neumann, whose parents were active in karate and volleyball, initially played football and basketball . At the final of the 2000 Olympic tournament he discovered his interest in volleyball. He began his career at Moerser SC , where he was used in various youth teams. In 2006 the junior national player moved to Bundesliga competitor evivo Düren . With the club of his hometown he reached the playoff final for the German championship against VfB Friedrichshafen in 2007 and the final of the DVV Cup a year later . As the second setter behind Ilja Wiederschein , however, he only made a few appearances. That is why he returned to Moers in 2008. With the MSC he was again in the cup final in 2009 . After withdrawing from Moers, Neumann moved to Bundesliga promoted TSV Herrsching in 2014 , where he was active until 2017.
