Tobias Schulze (born January 26, 1976 in Wernigerode ) is a German politician of the Die Linke party .

Life

Schulze completed an apprenticeship as a bookseller. He studied literature and political science at the Free University of Berlin .

He joined the PDS in 1999 . From 2006 he worked as a consultant for university policy for the PDS parliamentary group in the Berlin House of Representatives and then as a consultant for research and innovation policy for the parliamentary group Die Linke and Petra Sitte .

In the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 , Schulze moved into the Berlin House of Representatives via the state list of his party . Since 2016 he has been deputy state chairman of his party.

His explosive office called constituency office in Sprengelkiez he took over from Heiko Herberg .

Schulze has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Einstein Foundation Berlin since 2017 . In his function in the House of Representatives, Schulze is a member of the BerlinForum of the Stiftung Zukunft Berlin .

He is married and has two children.
