Heiko Herberg (born July 22, 1987 in Berlin-Wedding ) is a German politician and former parliamentary manager of the pirate faction in the Berlin House of Representatives . He was a member of the Pirate Party from 2009 to the beginning of 2015 and has been a member of the SPD since March 2016 .

education and profession

Herberg attended the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Gymnasium in Kyritz from 1999 to 2006 . After that he did his voluntarily extended military service from 2006 to 2008 with the military police in Hagenow. Between 2008 and 2011 he studied business informatics at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences . He then began studying law at the Humboldt University in Berlin .

politics

Until June 2012 he held the post of deputy chairman of the pirate group. In a special meeting of the Berlin pirate faction on June 22, 2012, Herberg was elected parliamentary manager. He was re-elected on June 11, 2013, May 20, 2014 and June 9, 2015. At the beginning of 2015 he resigned from the Pirate Party , but remained a member of the Pirate faction. In March 2016 he became a member of the SPD . In the election to the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 , he did not appear again.
