Tobias Retvik Torgersen (born September 25, 1982 ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Tobias Torgersen took part in the Junior World Championships in 2001 in Khanty-Mansiysk and finished fourth in the individual and sprint as well as 14th in the pursuit and thus just missed a medal in two races. He won this with bronze in the relay race. Two years later he appeared again in Kościelisko at the Junior World Championships and was there 46th in the individual, 27th in the sprint and 15th in the pursuit. In addition, there are assignments in the Junior Biathlon European Cup .

Torgersen was far more successful nationally. He was Norwegian Junior Champion five times and won the overall ranking of the Norwegian Junior Cup twice before competing in the men's team. With the relay of the provinces of Oslo og Akershus , he won the runner-up title at the Norwegian championships in 2001 in Ål with Stian Eckhoff , Kristian Martinsen and Halvard Hanevold . In 2002 in Stårheim and 2003 in Tromsø this success could be repeated with the same line-up. In 2004 in Steinkjer and in 2005 he won the title, the season also ran with the same line-up at these championships.

Torgersen is a trained pedagogue and trained biathlon trainer. After his active career, Torgersen worked for several years as a club trainer in Oslo and Lillehammer and was then a base trainer for cross-country skiing and biathlon in the Upper Engadin until 2010 . In 2010 he became assistant to the new Swiss national coach Steffen Hauswald and also continues to oversee the base in the Upper Engadine part-time.
