Tobias Vogel (born April 13, 1964 in Neubrandenburg ) is a former German soccer player in midfield . He played for FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder) and BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

In his youth, Vogel first played at ASG Vorwärts Neubrandenburg and then at FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder). There he made his debut in the league on the 12th game day of the 1984/85 season when he was in the starting line-up in the 1-1 draw against Dynamo Dresden on December 1, 1984. Six more missions followed during the season. In 1985/86 he had to be content with the reserve role. In the following season, Vogel was used 17 times, but often only after being substituted on. In the season 1987/88 he completed 18 of 26 games, where he was in the starting line-up 12 times. After relegation to the second-rate GDR league, he was used twelve times before moving to BSG Energie Cottbus in 1989. There he was only used in two league games and in 1990 went to BSG Chemie Guben . In the following two seasons Vogel was used in 23 games. In 1991 he went back to Frankfurt, where he ended his career in 1993.
