Tolga Özgen (born February 28, 1980 in Ankara ) is a Turkish soccer player who last played for Adana Demirspor .
Career
society
Tolga Özgen started playing club football in the youth department of Gençlerbirliği Ankara .
In the summer of 2000 he switched to the then third division İnegölspor as a professional player and only made one league game in his first season as a substitute goalkeeper. In his second season he came up with four players. The 2002/003 season he finally prevailed as a regular goalkeeper and made 31 league games.
For the new season he then moved to the second division Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor and immediately fought for the position of the goalkeeper. In the 2004/05 season he lost his regular place and did not make a single game as a substitute goalkeeper.
In the 2005/06 season he played as a loan player for half a season first with Giresunspor and then with Kasımpaşa .
In the summer of 2006 he then moved to Kasımpaşa, including the transfer fee. Here he played at times as a regular goalkeeper and at times as a substitute keeper. With Kasımpaşa he reached for the 2006/07 season and later for the 2008/09 season each promotion to the Süper Lig . At the end of the 2011/12 season, he separated after a renewed promotion to the Süper Lig by mutual agreement from Kasımpaşa.
For the second half of the 2012/13 season he moved to the first division club Sanica Boru Elazığspor . Özgen left Elazığspor without playing a game and signed with Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor in the summer of 2013 .
In the summer of 2014 he moved to Adana Demirspor . After his contract was not renewed here in the summer of 2015 and he could not find another employer, he remained without a club for the 2015/16 season.
National team
Tolga Özgen played once in 2008 for the second selection of the Turkish national team .
