Tolgahan Acar (born June 4, 1986 in Adana ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper .

Career

Tolgahan Acar began with club football in the youth of Çukurova Üniversitesi SK and then played for the youth teams of Adana Gençlerbirliği and Adanaspor . In 2002 he switched to becoming a professional player, but played two more seasons for the youth and reserve teams. 2004 Adanaspor got into great financial difficulties and had to give up most of the players. So he moved to the first division club Gaziantepspor . Here, too, he played for two years exclusively for the reserve team.

For the 2006/07 season he came back on loan to Adanaspor, which was now in the 4th division. Here you reached the championship of the TFF 3rd Lig at the end of the season and thus promotion to the TFF 2nd Lig . In 2007/08 he returned to Gaziantepspor, but was a reservist for half a season. For the back round he returned as a loan player back to Adanaspor and rose as a master of the TFF 2nd Lig in the TFF 1st Lig . For the next he had to return to Gaziantepspor and came on three league appearances by the winter break.

For the second half of the season he then moved to Adanaspor with a transfer fee. In the 2009/10 season they missed promotion to the Süper Lig only in the relegation phase. In the 2011/12 season he made it with his club to the playoff final of the TFF 1st Lig . In the final they lost to Kasımpaşa Istanbul 2: 3 in extra time and thus missed promotion to the Süper Lig only in the last encounter. For the second half of the 2013/14 season, Acar was loaned to third division club Göztepe Izmir .

In the summer of 2014 he moved to the new second division Altınordu Izmir and two years later within the TFF 1. Lig to Sivasspor . After promotion to the Süper Lig , he stayed for two more seasons in Sivas.

After 56 appearances, Acar was signed by Denizlispor for the 2019/20 season .
