Tomás Hernández Burillo (born February 19, 1930 in Saragossa , † January 2, 1982 ibid), also known as Moreno , was a Spanish football player .

Career

Moreno came in 1951 from the Spanish club UD Huesca to FC Barcelona . There the striker was part of the legendary "Barça de les Cinc Copes" (Five Cups Barça) in his first season , which won all trophies in the 1951/52 season. Moreno played in a team with the Barça legends Estanislao Basora , César and László Kubala . In the 1952/53 season he was with 22 league goals in 30 games, the most successful goalscorer of his team and was second in the scorers list of the Primera División behind Zarra . In addition, he won the championship, the cup and the Super Cup again this season. After he did not win any titles with Barcelona in the following years, he left Barcelona in 1955 for UD Las Palmas . After a year, Moreno moved to Real Saragossa , where he could no longer build on his old form within two years and did not even play half of all league games.

On July 5, 1953, Moreno made his debut in the dress of the Spanish national team at the game against Argentina . A week later he also played his second and last international match in a 2-1 win over Chile .
