Tomás Regalado (politician)
Tomás Pedro Regalado (* 24. May 1947 in Havana ) is a American Univision - reporters and politicians of the Republicans . He is acting mayor of Miami , Florida , and succeeds Manny Diaz .
Life and work
Regalado was the first child of Tomás Regalado Molina and Carmen Rita Valdez de Regalado. In April 1962, he and his younger brother Marcos were sent to Miami for Operation Peter Pan. As a journalist , he worked for several American television stations such as NBC and Channel 7 . In 2009 he prevailed as Mayor of Miami with 72% of the vote.
