Tom Grindberg

Tom Grindberg (born November 3, 1961 ) is a British comic artist .

Life and work

Grindberg began working as a full-time comic artist in the mid-1980s. He presented his first work for the US publisher DC-Comics and for the British publisher Fleetway: While Grindberg's first work for DC was published in the comic book DC New Talent Showcase # 12 from December 1984, his first works appeared for Fleetway 1987 in issues 2000 AD Presents # 16-19 and Judge Dredd # 10-11.

This was followed by further work for DC on series such as Action Comics , Adventures of Superman , Aquaman , Azrael (# 20), Batman (# 484), Captain Atom , Checkmate , Detective Comics , Firebrand (# 6), Firestorm the Nuclear Man (# 81, 83), Green Lantern (# 82, 87, 93), Guy Gardner (# 38), Hawk and Dove , Ion (# 5-6), Outsiders (# 37), Resurrection Man (# 7) and Secret Origins (# 9, 12). For Marvel Comics , Grindberg drew on the series Daredevil , Marvel Comics Presents , Conan , Conan Saga , Conan the Savage and The Savage Sword of Conan . He worked on the Solar series for Valiant . There were also some special projects like the One Shots Green Lantern Secret Files # 1 and Supergirl / Pryson: Double Shot (1998).

The list of writers Grindberg has worked with throughout his career includes John Ostrander , Brian Augustyn , Gerry Conway , Doug Moench , Ron Marz , Andy Lanning , Dan Jurgens , Beau Smith and Denny O'Neil , among others Indian ink artists who have “inked” Grindberg's pencil works include artists such as Terry Austin and Romeo Tanghal .
