Tormod Knutsen "Tom" Mobraaten (born February 19, 1910 in Kongsberg , Norway ; † June 10, 1991 ) was a Canadian skier .

Mobraaten, who emigrated from Norway to America with his family as a child and started winter sports at the Vancouver Ski Club , competed for Canada in the ski jumping , cross-country skiing and Nordic combined disciplines at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In ski jumping he reached 14th place with jumps on 71.5 and 66.5 meters. In cross-country skiing over 18 kilometers, he reached 57th place. In the combination he was sixth after jumping. Due to his poor mileage, however, he was only 31st overall. Twelve years later, at the age of 37, Mobraaten started again in ski jumping at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . After falling from the normal hill in both jumps, however, he only finished 44th in the end.
