Tom Moosmayer (born October 1, 1979 in Eupen , Belgium ) is a Belgian football player.

Career

The midfielder with the strong left foot began playing football in 1983, but abroad - albeit only until shortly after the Belgian-German border. He then joined FC 13 Roetgen . Since 1997 he has also coached several youth teams there.

In 2003 he moved to Alemannia Aachen , where he will now play in the second team. With the Alemannia Reserve he was in the 2003/04 season champion of the Association League Middle Rhine and rose to the Oberliga Nordrhein . Moosmayer was the team's captain and scored 14 goals in 30 appearances. Also in the following season he proved to be a reliable scorer (27/9).

Due to personnel concerns, coach Michael Frontzeck called the Belgian a few times into training with the first team after the 2006/07 winter break. For the first time he sat on March 17, 2007 in the Bundesliga match against Arminia Bielefeld with the professionals on the substitute bench; Eupener was also nominated for the game on March 31, 2007 against VfB Stuttgart . However, he did not come to appearances in the first team, and so Moosmayer moved to East Friesland for the 2007/08 season to Kickers Emden in the Regionalliga Nord . After qualifying for the 3rd division , Moosmayer played his first professional game on July 26, 2008.

Moosmayer also worked for the soccer school “Do It - Soccer University” as a trainer at the Aachen base and in the holiday camps. The Belgian played several times for the Aachen district selection and for the selection of the Mittelrhein football association ; However, he was never appointed to a Belgian national team.

For the 2009/10 season Moosmayer changes to the second division club Rot Weiss Ahlen and signed a one-year contract with the option for another year. The contract was dissolved in the winter break of the season, so Moosmayer moved to Kickers Offenbach , where he received a contract until the end of the season. He then moved to the regional division Wuppertaler SV Borussia . In January 2013, he had his contract terminated there and then wanted to switch to third division club Alemannia Aachen, which was prohibited by the German Football Association due to existing liquidity gaps. He then joined his parent club, FC 13 Roetgen, in the district league A. For the 2013/14 season Moosmayer moved to Alemannia Aachen.

Private

Tom Moosmayer completed an apprenticeship as an insurance salesman after graduating from college . Since June 2006 he has been studying media management .
