Tom Szczesniak

Thomas "Tom" Szczesniak (born January 26, 1948 ) is an American musician ( piano , organ , bass , accordion ), composer , arranger and orchestra leader who worked for many years in Canada as a session and film musician.

Live and act

Szczesniak came to Toronto in 1973 after playing in the US Air Force Band in Washington, DC. He worked mainly as a musician for film and television productions, u. a. for Earth: Final Conflict, Street Legal, The Road to Avonlea, Side Effects, SCTV, The Wolfman Jack Show and The Jim Henson Hour as well as numerous jingles . As a studio musician he worked a. a. for artists like Gordon Lightfoot , Anne Murray , Esthero , Bryan Adams , Little Richard , kd lang and Dionne Warwick . With Ray Parker and Jim Morgan, he released an album in 1999 with the soundtrack for the animated series Les Aventures De Tintin ( Tintin ). He recorded the jazz album Waltz for Bill (2012) under his own name , a tribute to the pianist Bill Evans . With Ray Parker he runs the music production company Parkerszczmith Inc.
