Tomas Tomic (born January 10, 1977 in Munich ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper . He was active in the top divisions in Austria and Portugal .
Career
Tomic started playing football at DJK München Nord at the age of seven , before joining the youth department of FC Bayern Munich at the age of nine and passing through all age groups from E to A youth in ten years . As a youth player, he was a member of the professional team for three days of the Bundesliga. Out of adolescence, he moved up to the squad of the amateur team in 1996, for which he played 18 point games in the Regionalliga Süd in two seasons . During this time he also took part in the training of the Bundesliga team.
For the 1998/99 season he was signed by the Austrian first division club Grazer AK , for which he played only four Bundesliga games in two seasons under coach Klaus Augenthaler . For the first time on October 23, 1998 (13th matchday) in the 0-2 defeat in the home game against LASK Linz , the last time on 20 May 2000 (35th matchday) of the following season, in the 2-2 draw in the away game against that club against whom he debuted. He also played a game for the ÖFB Cup , which he won with the team on October 31, 1998 in the round of 16 at FCN St. Pölten 4-0. Internationally, he played twice against AS Monaco in the second round of the UEFA Cup in 1998/99 .
For the 2000/01 season he committed the Portuguese first division club Vitória Guimarães , which he belonged to the end of the 2004/05 season . He made his point game debut on August 19, 2000 (1st matchday) in the 0-1 defeat in the away game against Sporting Braga . On loan, he came in the 2002/03 season for the second division CF Estrela Amadora in a league game .
