Daddy Blues is a German TV film directed by Sibylle Tafel from 2019 . It is the second episode of the ARD series Toni, male, midwife with Leo Reisinger as Munich midwife Toni in the lead role. The German first broadcast took place on February 15, 2019 on the ARD slot "Finally Friday in the First".

action

Midwife Toni struggles when his great love Hanna confirms the divorce. He must see jealously how Hanna does it with another man in front of him. Meanwhile he learns that his sister Romy von Flocke is eight weeks pregnant. Toni hates Flocke like the plague, he thinks he's a macho who isn't good enough for his sister. He took first place in a boatercross competition attended by Toni and Romy. Now he wants to train for the Olympic Games in Slovenia. In the evening Flocke and Romy sit in the car, where Flocke proposes marriage to Romy. When Flocke gets out of the car, he is hit by a passing car and ends up in a wheelchair, paraplegic. Toni in particular encourages Flocke not to give up and not to see his handicap as a limitation. And actually the two make their peace. At the same time, Toni looks after the heavily pregnant Leyla Gökdal, who suffers from the fact that her devout mother-in-law has stayed at her home.
