Lilay Huser, formerly Lilay Erincin (* 1958 in Turkey ), is a German actress of Turkish origin.

Professional development and career

Born in Turkey, she moved to Krefeld in 1978 to study and later to Wuppertal with the aim of becoming a certified textile engineer . But at that time Huser already had an affinity for the theater. From 1986, she began to work increasingly in the intercultural theater scene in North Rhine-Westphalia , for example at the Arkadaş Theater in Cologne and co-founded the Wupper Theater .

Since 2000 Huser (initially under the name Erincin) was seen in film roles, often on television, e.g. B. in television thrillers like Tatort . Fixed series roles were "Fatma Melek" in König von Kreuzberg (2005) or "Oma Öztürk" in Turkish for Beginners (2008). This was followed by larger roles in films such as Chiko (2008), Evet, I want! (2008), What a Man (2011) or in one of the leading roles in Almanya - Willkommen in Deutschland (2011) together with her former husband Vedat Erincin .
