For police chief Inge Aschenbrenner, the most important things in life are pug “Buzzi” and son Thomas, affectionately known as “Bubi”. When the latter introduces himself as the new head of the police station in the Munich district of Haidhausen, mother-son conflicts are inevitable. In addition, the police officers have to cope with everyday life with burglary, theft and bodily harm. Inge also does everything to ensure that Thomas finally marries the bistro owner Gianna.

Monaco 110 was produced as part of the Heiter-bis-tödlich series and is the third series produced in Bavaria that will now be broadcast on Wednesday. Thomas Kronthaler wrote the scripts for the eight-episode first season .
In April 2015 it was announced that Bayerischer Rundfunk would continue the series and produce a second season with six new episodes, which were broadcast from October 9 to November 20, 2015.
