Kathrin von Steinburg (born June 15, 1977 in Munich ) is a German actress and singer .

Life

Von Steinburg received a diploma from the Neighborhood Playhouse drama school in New York City and completed a film acting course at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . In 2006 she was part of the main cast of Ralf Westhoff's award-winning feature film Shoppen . In the BR television series Franzi , she played the main role of Sandra, the best friend of the heroine, from 2009 to 2012. In Sebastian Grobler's feature film The Big Dream , she was seen as Klara Bornstedt in 2011.

She had theater engagements at the Altenburg-Gera Theater, among others, and has appeared at the Munich Volkstheater since 2005 as Marei in the play Der Brandner Kaspar und das Ewig 'Leben . In the summer of 2013 she appeared in a new production of " Friedrich Hebbels - born to die" Nibelungen at the Nibelungen Festival in Worms as Brunhild , directed by Dieter Wedel .
