Wolke Alma Hegenbarth (born May 6, 1980 in Meerbusch ) is a German actress . She played her best-known role as Alexandra "Alex" Degenhardt, main actor in the television series Mein Leben & Ich .

life and career

Wolke Hegenbarth grew up in Meerbusch-Osterath . "Cloud" is not an artist name. After objections from the registry office, her father fought for the right to call his daughter that in court. She started taking ballet lessons at the age of four . During a casting in the theater company, she was discovered in 1995 for a role in the series Die Camper , which founded her first acting experience. In 1999 she passed her Abitur at the Humboldt Gymnasium in Cologne . Hegenbarth is related to the comic artist Hannes Hegen (née Johannes Hegenbarth) and to the painter Josef Hegenbarth .

In 2006 she took part in the first season of the RTL dance show Let's Dance . With her dance partner, the former professional dancer Oliver Seefeldt , she reached second place. On June 30, 2007, Hegenbarth and the former professional dancer Allan Frank won the preliminary round of the Eurovision Dance Contest with 49 percent of all votes. Since Frank was very limited in time due to his training as a long-distance pilot, Hegenbarth entered the Eurovision Dance Contest again with Seefeldt and reached eighth place. On October 18, 2008, Hegenbarth took part in TV total tower diving and landed in synchronized diving with her fellow actor Steffen Groth . Hegenbarth also hosted the COMET Awards 2004 and on January 18, 2008 the third Dresden Opera Ball .

In 2004 Hegenbarth was awarded the German Comedy Prize in the category Best Actress in a Comedy Series , in 2005 and 2006 she was nominated again in this category. Several nominations for the German Television Award followed . In 2011, she received the “best for bike” award for bicycle-friendly personality of the year. In the same year she was also awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for her social commitment . In addition, she was nominated for the Golden Hen in the category "Reader's Award 2011".

From 2002 to 2012 Hegenbarth was married to a South African . She lives in Berlin . In early September 2019 she became the mother of a boy.

Wolke Hegenbarth is committed to the Mercy Ships aid organization . Since 2013 she has been helping out on the hospital ship Africa Mercy for several weeks every year . Hegenbarth also supports the children's aid organization Plan International and the aid organization World Vision through two of its own child sponsorships and with the “Despite AIDS” campaign. In addition, their support also applies to Ein Herz für Kinder .
