Melania Singer
Melania Singer (born July 24, 1967 in Locarno ) is a film editor .
Life
Melania Singer was born in Switzerland and grew up in Munich , where she still has her main residence today. She attended the Steinerschule , graduated from high school externally, and then graduated from the Riemerschmid Municipal Business School in Munich .
Singer studied at the University of Philosophy in Munich and finished her studies with a bachelor's degree in 1988. In 1989 she switched to the film business and trained as a magnetic recording technician at ARRI TV in Munich .
Since 1994 she has worked initially as an assistant editor and since 1998 exclusively as a freelance editor for various companies. For example UFA Fiction , Studio Hamburg , Bavaria Fiction, Razor Film, Amalia Film, Denkmal Film, Team Worx, Askania Media, Constantin Film.
Singer's work includes more than 50 film and television productions. She is a member of the Federal Association of Film Editing Editors (BFS).
