Conrad Poul Emil Brummerstedt (born June 28, 1857 in Frederiksberg , † October 30, 1939 in Gentofte ) was a Danish inspector of Greenland .

Life

Brummerstedt came to Sisimiut in 1876 to work as a volunteer there. In 1879 he was permanently employed. In 1881 he was appointed administrator in Nuuk . In 1883 he moved to Qaqortoq to work as an assistant there before he was again administrator the next year. In 1885 he became colonial administrator in Sisimiut and from 1891 to 1892 he was inspector of South Greenland . He then moved back to Qaqortoq and worked until 1902.

Conrad Poul Emil Brummerstedt was the son of Erik Conrad Frederik Brummerstedt and his wife Cecilie Christiane Emilie Rosengreen. On October 10, 1880, the widow Marthe Naomi Pernille Kleist, born 16 years older, gave birth. Olsen (1841–?) Gave him his illegitimate son James Karl Kristian Johannes Brummerstedt in Sisimiut. On August 28, 1882 he finally married Anna Johanne Kathrine Mathiasen (1865–?) In Nuuk, who gave birth to the following children:

  • Gerda Inger Brummerstedt (born May 18, 1900 in Qaqortoq; † January 15, 1993 in Frederikshavn ), married. with Alfred Ejner Larsen (1897–1952)
