Christian Alexander Platou

Christian Alexander Platou (born December 8, 1779 in Hillerød , † December 18, 1827 in Nuuk ) was a Danish inspector of Greenland .

Christian Alexander Platou was appointed as Inspector of South Greenland in 1821 as the successor to Marcus Nissen Myhlenphort . His term of office ran until 1823, when he was replaced by Arent Christopher Heilmann . In 1824, however, he became inspector a second time and continued the office until 1827.

Christian Alexander Platou was a son of Michael Platou (1746-1808) and Johanne Ottone Broch (1756-1825). He married Bolette Margrethe Raun (1782–1833), daughter of Hans Henrik Raun (1732–1801) and an Esther. The son was Hans Hendrik Raun Platou (* 1819). About the daughter Ane Kathrine, both are great, great, great grandparents of the musician and politician Per Berthelsen (* 1950).
