Ove Valentin Kielsen

Ove Valentin Kielsen (born January 2, 1803 in Copenhagen , † January 1, 1864 ) was a Danish inspector of Greenland .

Kielsen worked in Paamiut from 1824 before he was appointed inspector of South Greenland in 1827 and carried out the office until the next year. He then served in Nuuk , Sisimiut and Qeqertarsuaq as an assistant, merchant and colonial administrator.

He was the son of Major Kjeld Frederik Kielsen and Benthea Cathrine Kielsen. He married Anne Dorthe Juul (1809–1856) in 1833, the daughter of Diderich Juul and Maren Westrup.
