The Autostrada R 6b ( Albanian for motorway R 6b ) is a 32 kilometer long motorway in Kosovo that is being planned. It is supposed to connect the village of Zahaq near Peja with the village of Kijeva near Pristina . The new motorway, also known as the Prishtinë – Pejë motorway, will significantly shorten the distance between the two cities. The highway is nicknamed Adem Demaçi in memory of the former Kosovar politician Adem Demaçi .
Routing
The motorway is to branch off from the national road M-9 in Pristina and lead through the Carraleva Mountains to Peja . She passes the city of Klina .
construction
The motorway is being planned. Investors have been found who want to raise more than 189 million euros for the construction of the motorway.
