White scales swim in their mucus, which disappear with age. The lamellas have been colored pale olive-yellow for a long time and slowly become clay-brown as they mature. They have just grown to fully booked and are crowded. The stem is whitish and full-fleshed. It has flaky, bulky scales of the same color. In young fruiting bodies there is a flaky ring zone that soon disappears in the upper part of the stem. The meat is brownish in the stem base, otherwise whitish.

The smell is insignificant. The taste is mild, but the species leaves a sharp, radish-like aftertaste.

The spore powder is brown. The spores are 6 to 8 × 3.5 to 4.5 micrometers in size and elliptical-bean-shaped. Your germ pore is very fine. The cystids are bulbous, bottle-shaped and partly with or without yellowish content.
