Tony Scheffler (born February 15, 1983 in Morenci , Michigan ) is a retired American football player on the tight end position . He played with the Denver Broncos and the Detroit Lions in the National Football League . He was selected in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft as the 61st overall player by the Denver Broncos. In April 2010, the Broncos swapped him in a triangle swap with the Eagles and Lions to Detroit. In college, he played on the Western Michigan University team . He attended high school in Chelsea , Michigan.
