Tony Schmidt (born July 20, 1988 in Dresden ) is a German football player .

Career

Schmidt can be used variably on both wings in the midfield. He played his first third division game for Dynamo Dresden on February 5, 2009 against Kickers Emden . From 2010 to 2011 Schmidt was under contract with the regional league team ZFC Meuselwitz . Then worked for the league competitor VFC Plauen for two years . In the summer of 2013 Schmidt moved to the third division Hallescher FC .

After his contract expired, Schmidt switched to the upper division TuS Koblenz in the summer of 2015 . After the promotion, Schmidt remained loyal to TuS in 2016/2017 and was able to celebrate relegation in the regional league and winning the Rhineland Cup with the team . However, after his contract expired in summer 2017, Schmidt left Koblenz. Then Schmidt joined FSV Budissa Bautzen in the Regionalliga Nordost for two seasons .

After a season with regional league team VSG Altglienicke , Schmidt moved to Sachsenliga promoted FV Dresden 06 Laubegast in summer 2020 .
