Tony-Mickaël Patrice Yves Vairelles (born April 10, 1973 in Nancy ) is a former French national soccer player and currently a club official.

Career

In the club

In the 2008/09 season the striker was under contract with the Luxembourg first division club F91 Dudelange . After only one year, his contract was not renewed and he moved to the then French third division club FC Gueugnon . There he took over the majority of the shares at the turn of the year 2009/10 and was its sports director until the club went bankrupt; his father Guy Vairelles became the new club president. On October 25, 2011, Tony Vairelles and his three brothers were remanded in custody after a shooting outside a nightclub in Essey-lès-Nancy . On March 27, 2012, Tony Vairelles, the penultimate brother of his, was released from pretrial detention after the injured bouncers became involved in contradictions and the judiciary's own brutality in this and other incidents.

National team

Vairelles played eight times for the French national team between 1998 and 2000 and scored a goal in the international match against Croatia on November 13, 1999 .
