Tore Bjonviken (born January 2, 1975 ) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier .
Career
Bjonviken first drew attention to himself in 1994 at the Junior World Ski Championships in Breitenwang with second place in the relay. At the Junior World Ski Championships in Gällivare in 1995 , he won over 30 km in free technique and the bronze medal in the relay. A year later he received his first World Cup competition in the 30 km freestyle in Trondheim and finished the race in 57th place. He achieved his first podium in March 1997 in a sprint in Sunne, Sweden . Overall, he was able to achieve a podium three more times. With the relay, he won the World Cup in Santa Caterina Valfurva in 2000 and in Davos in 2002.
