Sports facilities

Ski jump

In the competitions with participation of the ski jumping hill, the jumps are held in Granåsen . This hill has a hill size value of 140 meters and a K-point of 123 meters. The current appearance of the ski jump was modeled in autumn 2008. The hill record has been held by Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer with 140 meters since the 2008 World Cup .

Cross-country track

The cross-country stadium is located in the immediate vicinity to the west of the jumping facility. There is a separate start and finish straight in the area of ​​the stadium for cross-country skiing competitions. To the south of the ski stadium, routes run in different loops, which can be put together to form a round as required.

A 2.5-kilometer lap was prepared for the combiners in 2008. Within this 72.4 meters of ascent had to be mastered, with the longest single ascent being 41.7 meters.

biathlon

In the 2008/09 season , a biathlon world cup competition will take place in Trondheim for the first time .
