Torgon (colloquially Balcon du Chablais ) is a holiday resort in the municipality of Vionnaz ( Monthey district ) in the French-speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland . Torgon is best known as the ski station of the Portes du Soleil ski area , the largest ski area in Europe , and for the annual Torgonabike mountain bike race . Torgon is also the official training location of the Center Mondial du Cyclisme , which is part of the Union Cycliste Internationale . In addition, the clothing for ski school instructors throughout Switzerland is made in Torgon.
Torgon can be reached via a third-class road from Vionnaz . The Postbus runs the Aigle – Torgon route (as of 2013) five times a day on weekdays and four times a day on weekends and public holidays.

The village center of Torgon (Torgon village) is located at 1085 m above sea level. M. Furthermore, Torgon is divided into the following districts:
- Revereulaz
- Revereulaz is located at 989 m above sea level. M. and is about two kilometers away from Torgon village. There is a church in Revereulaz, the only one in Torgon.
- Plan de Croix
- Plan de Croix is 1420 m above sea level. M. From here, the ski can Portes du Soleil has three lifts be achieved.
- La Cheurgne
- The settlement of La Cheurgne, which consists exclusively of chalets , is located between Torgon Village and Plan de Croix and is 1126 m above sea level. M.
- La Jorette
- La Jorette is 1150 m above sea level. M. and consists mainly of seven large chalet-like houses with several dozen apartments. La Jorette is connected to Plan de Croix and thus the Portes du Soleil ski area by two chair lifts and slopes.
