Torigni-sur-Vire is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Torigny-les-Villes with 2,304 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Manche department in Normandy . Since January 1st 2016 Torigni-sur-Vire belongs to the municipality of Torigny-les-Villes. Old spellings of the place name are Thorigny , Thorigni and Torigny . The addition "-sur-Vire" dates from 1849, whereby the Vire actually does not affect the place.
