Torrena was a planned television tower in the Mexican Guadalajara , which should be 336.5 meters high. This would have made it the tallest television tower in Latin America . Similar to the CN Tower , a glass floor and a revolving restaurant were planned for the Torrena . Construction work on the project began in spring 2005, but was discontinued in 2009. The tower construction was officially canceled in 2010 and instead the construction of a 52-storey high-rise was announced.
