Torsten Reuter (born September 15, 1982 in Kaiserslautern ) is a former German soccer player who specializes in defense and midfield tasks. He played a total of 22 Bundesliga games for 1. FC Kaiserslautern and 22 second division games (3 goals) for 1. FC Saarbrücken .
Career
He began his professional career at 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2001/02 season, but still played for the amateurs in the Regionalliga Süd during the season . It was not until the 2002/03 season that he was also used in the Bundesliga team. In 2004 the Lauterer loaned him to 1. FC Saarbrücken for one season. In the following season he worked again at Betzenberg , but could not prevail with the "red devils", which is why FCK sold him to 1. FC Saarbrücken in June 2006. In the winter break of 2006/07 he moved to SV Wehen in the Regionalliga Süd and with this he made it to the 2nd Bundesliga at the end of the season. For the 2007/08 season he left Wehen / Wiesbaden and returned to the amateur team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the Oberliga Südwest . In 2008 he rose with his team to the Regionalliga West. After the 2010/11 season he began a legal traineeship as a primary school teacher and played one season for TuS 04 Hohenecken and from 2012 to 2015 as a player-coach for SG Waldfischbach , before ending his active career.
