Torture Killer is a Finnish death metal band. She started in 2002 as Six Feet Under - and Obituary - cover band . After six months, the band began to write and record their own songs. In October 2003 they released their debut album For Maggots To Devour , which resulted in a tour of Finland with Vader . In 2005 Chris Barnes , (Ex- Cannibal Corpse , Six Feet Under ) became aware of the band during the Blast Your Violence tour through Europe and became the band's singer. He produced her second album Swarm! , wrote about half of the lyrics and was active as a singer. On January 31, 2008, however, Barnes announced his separation from the band. In the meantime, Juri Sallinen has been hired for the singing. With this they released their third studio album Sewers in 2009. Phobia Pessi Haltsonen was represented as a singer on the 2012 EP I Chose Death as well as on the 2013 studio album .

Guitarist Tuomas Karppinen is also the bassist of the Finnish Porngrind band Torsofuck , drummer Tuomo Latvala also plays in this group.
