Total Holocaust Records is a Swedish independent label .
history
The label was founded in Partille , Sweden in 2002 by Håkan Jonsson the drummer Watains . Jonsson describes the publisher as a personal battle against himself. The label has been inactive since around 2014. Most of the label's releases are available on CD.
Total Holocaust Records mainly relocates metal bands from Extreme Metal , mainly from stylistic developments of Black Metal . In particular, various interpreters of Depressive Black Metal were relocated via Total Holocaust Records. The label also cooperated with performers associated with the NSBM scene such as Ad Hominem and Ornaments of Sin . Occasionally representatives of other metal styles such as the funeral doom bands Bosque and Nortt are also being relocated. The other best-known performers sold by the label include Make a Change… Kill Yourself , Lifelover , Forgotten Woods , Xasthur , Twilight , Nachtmystium and Lurker of Chalice .
