The Trübenbach runs between Kirn and Bergen between Hunsrück and the Nahe valley . The Trübenbach rises on the plateau near Bergen and runs through a gorge over several smaller waterfalls down to the Hahnenbach . The source is at an altitude of 430 m. The Trübenbach has a length of 5 kilometers and overcomes a difference in altitude of 240 meters. The mouth in the Hahnenbach is in Kirn under the Kyrburg . The Trübenbachtal is a popular local hiking trail in Rhineland-Palatinate and, thanks to the great difference in altitude, places medium to high demands on hikers.
