Tracey Seaward

Tracey Seaward (* 1965 in Willerby , East Riding of Yorkshire ) is an English film producer .

Tracey Seaward attended Wolfreton School and Hull College. She then studied film and cultural studies at Trinity College in Leeds . She produced the Stephen Frears films Little Dirty Tricks (2002), Lady Henderson Presents (2005), The Queen (2006), Chéri - A Comedy of Vanities (2009), Immer Drama um Tamara (2010) and Philomena ( 2013). For The Queen , she received the British Academy Film Award for best film in 2007 together with the two other producers Christine Langan and Andy Harries . The Queen was also nominated for an Oscar in 2007. Philomena was at the Academy Awards in 2014 as a Best Picture nomination.

In 2008 she received an honorary doctorate from the University of Hull .

In 2012 she produced the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and the two short films Happy and Glorious and Isles of Wonder .
