Traian Crișan

Traian Crişan (born May 21, 1918 in Iara , Torda-Aranyos County , † November 6, 1990 in Rome ) was a curial archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Traian Crişan received on 25 March 1945, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 7, 1981 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Titular Archbishop of Drivastum and ordered him to the secretary of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints . Pope John Paul II donated him to the episcopal ordination on January 6, 1982 in St. Peter's Basilica ; Co-consecrators were Eduardo Martínez Somalo , Substitute of the State Secretariat , and Lucas Moreira Neves OP , Secretary of the Congregation for Bishops .

On February 24, 1990, Traian Crişan resigned as secretary of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.
