Traian Alexandru Marc (born January 16, 1983 in Brașov ) is a former Romanian football player . The goalkeeper was most recently under contract with CFR Cluj .

Career

Marc started playing football at FC Brașov . In 2002 he joined the squad of the first team that played in Divizia A at the time . In the first few years it was only used occasionally. In 2005 he moved to Politehnica Iași . There, too, he rarely got a chance. After he had come to six missions for Forex Brașov in Liga II in the 2008/09 season , he returned to Iași, but was only used twice.

In summer 2010 Marc returned to FC Brașov. After nine games in the 2010/11 season , he was no longer used in the following season. He left the club for local rivals Corona Brașov in Liga II. There he made his breakthrough in the 2012/13 season when he became a regular and rose to League 1. There he was able to maintain his position, but could not avoid relegation in 2014 . Then Marc moved to Dinamo Bucharest . Here he also secured the regular place between the posts in the first half of the 2014/15 season and only had to leave it to his rival Kristijan Naumovski at the beginning of the second half . In the summer of 2015 he left Dinamo and joined CFR Cluj . Here he was able to win his first title with the cup victory in 2016 .
